Le mélange des couleurs me passionne. Après avoir expérimenté l'huile et l'acrylique, pratiqué la gravure, le tissage, le verre coloré et la photographie, j'ai découvert l'aquarelle.
Ce n'est pas une discipline exacte; à cause de la puissance de l'eau, le pigment se montre capricieux. L'aquarelliste ne jouit pas d'une maîtrise complète pour exprimer son émotion. L'artiste doit saisir l'instant magique où le cycle de l'eau provoque la fusion spontanée des pigments colorés qui coulent sur le papier tout en absorbant sa lumière et sa transparence.
Résidente de Ville Mont-Royal depuis 1967, je détient un baccalauréat en beaux-arts de l'université Concordia à Montréal.
The blending of colors is my passion. After having experienced oïl and acrylic, engraving, weaving, stained glass and photography, I discovered the challenging aspect of watercolor.
This is not an accurate or predictable form of pictorial discipline. Due to the power of water, the creation of a painting is not totally controlled by the artist. To express an emotion, the aquarellist must seize the magical instant when the water cycle will cause a spontaneous fusion of colored pigments flowing on the paper while absorbing its light and transparency.
